TESTIMONIALS

Chris Zillman - AVP Commercial Banking RM – Johnson Financial Group & Secretary of the Board – Downtown Janesville Inc

"Over the past two and half years, I have had the pleasure to serve with Ann Roe on the board of
directors for Downtown Janesville Inc. In addition to the board, we have served on multiple committees
and spent many hours volunteering at downtown events. During this time, Ann’s work ethic has become
very evident, and I have come to understand Ann’s passion and commitment to support small
businesses in our community. I believe Ann genuinely cares about her fellow community members and
wants to see continued growth in the small business sector."

"Ann Roe and I have collaborated on numerous downtown Janesville initiatives. I have
witnessed her unwillingness to give up when any issues arose. She al
ways addressed any problems head on and with a solution-oriented approach.
She listened to other perspectives and shared ideas based on her experience. I truly
believe she is well equipped for the job and will do her absolute best work for our
district."

Dr. Karen Schulte, Retired School District of Janesville Superintendent

"The Wisconsin Forward Award recognizes state organizations that have sharpened
their competitive edge and are making an impact in various fields throughout the
state. In 2017 the School District of Janesville submitted its first Wisconsin Forward
award.  We won in the field of education.  Ann Roe was the principal writer on the
winning award.  She worked tirelessly with the SDJ superintendent and staff for a period
of three years to complete this project.  This was a lofty honor for the SDJ highlighting
its exemplary dedication to high standards and educational excellence."
